Our first outreach event at Bosworth Academy, during the Post-16 Open Evening! It was great being able to tell people about our planning and preparations, and we fundraisers enough to buy our accelerometer!

Some of our early testing, we dropped our cansat from a measured distance to assess the damage of the can, as well to calculate speed.

Our worry worm fundraiser last term was extremely successful, and so we are delighted to say we are organising another sale at the end of this half term!

We have begun building our Cansat and electronics, ready for launch on the 4th of March. The can is a traditional soda can, taped over for some slight reinforcement and to allow us to draw on the Bosworth Academy logo. The electronics for the cansat are also nearing completion!
