After analyzing drone & satellite imagery & consulting experts, we’ve updated the 8/28 tornado info. There is evidence of a continuous path from beginning to end. The event was complicated with many smaller tornadoes/vortices embedded within/rotating around, the main circulation.

Radar loop of the 1980 Grand Island NE tornadic supercell. Note the multiple cycles the LLMC undergoes, in addition to the clear LRE likely with some of the more intense tornadoes. The overall supercell was moving SE with several of the tornadoes traveling westward!
