The Scottish Greens joined striking workers from UCU Edinburgh outside Parliament yesterday. We just don't believe uni management when they say there is no alternative to redundancies. (To the relief of many though, I had completely lost my voice so I couldn't give a speech 📣)

It happened again. Eighteen months ago Scottish Government agreed to Green proposals for a just transition plan for Mossmorran. This week Exxon announced they're closing their site and cutting 450 jobs. That transition plan? It doesn't exist. Ministers never bothered to do it.

Reform's former leader in Wales has been jailed for 10yrs for taking Russian bribes. This shower of absolute chancers prey on people's justified anger. The only way to counter that is by giving hope that another world is possible, one where everyone can afford to get by.
