You can light marshmallows on fire using the Sun! We made an appearance at STEAM Fest in Ely Nevada, where we set up solar telescopes and our solar marshmallow demo, concentrating sunlight using mirrors. Great fun and science (and marshmallows) were had by all!

We were able to see the aurora borealis a couple of weeks ago in the dark skies of rural Nevada alongside a glowing Milky Way. Dark skies are indeed a treasure, so please support efforts to limit light pollution in your area. darksky.org
