Fantastic job done today on day two of Get Cally Ready Weekend! Two teams hard at work clearing 130 metres of borders and getting the car park ready for opening on Friday. Thanks to all who supported Kevin and Cally Gardens.

Only two days until we open! Busy, busy, busy planting, weeding and getting the paths and drive ready. Visitors are going to see that a lot has changed since 2018.

Well what a wonderful surprise! Over 100 people supported Kevin today and attended his past and present tour. Thanks to all who came and thanks for being so patient in the plant centre queue.

Cally is more than just a walled garden, we have 3 hectares of broadleaf woodland which will be at the centre of our wildlife garden.

Kevin has a lot of work ahead as he works to restore Cally Gardens. This is the shade border which sits outside the walled garden. Untouched for many years.

Today, Kevin received some fantastic photographs of Cally Gardens taken over the last 10 years. Even better, some of the photographs show plants that are maybe still lost under their neighbours and yet to be discovered and some pictures also include their labels!

Call for volunteers! The gardens are improving, however, Kevin and the team still have a lot to do to get the gardens back in shape. If you fancy spending a few hours in the peacefulness of Cally then please let us know? Our next big tidy up day is Saturday 23rd of March.

The plant collection at Cally Gardens is not the only thing worth seeing, our ecological garden is also packed with creatures of all kinds, all in harmony and bringing the garden alive with sounds and activity. We are open 10am - 5 pm.

Visitors continue to be enthralled with the plant collection at Cally Gardens! The view changes every day and Season Ticket holders are amazed on each new visit. The gardens are open 10am - 5pm all through the weekend.
