Absolutely spot on. This should be doubly true and obvious to Christians where family and church can help young couples and young parents thrive.

Actually it’s our book and always has been. Contemporary Judaism is a novel religion invented after Christ in order to justify the false belief that Christ is not the fulfillment of all Scripture.

My latest article at 1517 is part of a series on what it means to be a saint. Sainthood is not a merit earned by good works but a title and promise given to us by the Holy Spirit through the means of grace. 1517.org/articles/what-…

Here are some of my thoughts on the decline in church attendance among younger generations, and why absolution and the means of grace must remain central to our appeal to emerging adults. youtu.be/NKNxIcIsWyc

Now imagine a Christian nationalist saying… secular liberalism is a worldview with convictions that stand in opposition to the fundamentals of Christianity itself. There needs to be a Christian state. Does political opposition to your worldview justify religious nationalism?

The phrase “Protestants don’t….” Is one of the most lazy ways Catholic apologists engage with theology. The “don’t” is always followed by some gross generalization. It’s gives Catholics an easy mechanism to ignore Protestants with historic confessions, doctrine, and practices.

“God's Word is the cause of division" is a wild thing to say out loud. Luther, of course, recognized right away in his response to Erasmus that one of the prime Papist suppositions is that Scripture is wildly unclear.

Kind of interesting 🤔 that the when Jesus teaches the disciples how to pray he doesn’t instruct them to pray to Abraham, Mosses, David, or Elijah for intercession. Instead he tells them to take every one of their needs and thanksgivings to God their Father.

Lay Catholics should immediately stop doing apologetics and theology online. Their interpretations of the Bible and of church teachings are not preserved by the grace of apostolic succession. This personal interpretation is dangerous and risks fragmenting their church.

I've uploaded a new video to the 1517 YouTube channel. I answer common questions about the Theology of the Cross, covering both its strengths and weaknesses. youtu.be/H-OoUZbwfHY

Theologian of the Cross is one of the first distinctions of the Lutheran Reformation. The Heidelberg Disputation is a gateway to the clarity the Reformation brings: pointing us away from ourselves and toward trust in Christ alone.
