Just finished my re-read of Dune Messiah. I absolutely adore Frank Herbert’s effort at tackling purpose and fate through these characters. Worship can be so positive when pointed in the right direction. Can’t wait to see how Denis tells this story.

People could potentially be watching Dune 3 in early September. I still have a strong feeling that the release date will move, and hopefully this is a sign that it moves closer to October/November 2026!

This is the most important shot in the Dune movies. I'll elaborate later this month.

I posted my video essay on r/Dune, and got this comment about Stilgar that I strongly disagree with. I've seen this opinion a lot, that Stilgar in Denis' films was turned into just a "comedic relief". Curious to hear y'alls thoughts on this discussion.
