Completely agree with this It’s absolutely no fault whatsoever of Littler’s, but to a lot of people (mainly the media) - Humphries’ World Championship title will always been known as the one that Littler lost rather than the one that he won which must be so disheartening

100% agree. No one can deny that even as World Champion & World Number 1, it was always Littler that was the headline (not his fault btw) He probably is the most under appreciated World Champion and world number 1 ever unfortunately.

This is what I keep talking about. He has never lost a 20+ leg game as a Tour Card Holder. You either beat him early on, or you don’t at all. If you want to win a major and don’t care about runs, it’s best to get him Round 1 in most majors.
