April is shaping up to be an epic month! First, we welcome the superb Tygerberg Children's Choir from Cape Town for workshops, rehearsals and 2 concerts. Then we take BYC Senior Choir & BYC Intermediate Choir to INTERKULTUR Hull Int. Choir Comp. inc. Gala Concert and workshops. Work also taking place on NAVE
We also welcome 85 new members to BYC, including members of our new choirs based in Penistone - BYC Junior Choir West (Penistone) and BYC Little Singers , which takes the number of choirs to 9 and membership over 600. New choirs start on 19th April! barnsleyyouthchoir.org.uk/join-the-choir
44 have arrived for the first ever BYC Junior Choir West (Penistone) rehearsal! Wow! This is 15 minutes in, and they sound wonderful. We are so happy to welcome them all to the BYC family. Joyous!

We’re excited to be taking part in the fabulous Kate Rusby Underneath the Stars Festival on Saturday. 120 Children’s Choir members, 40 Senior Choir members and a great 9 piece band. We hope to see you there stargazers!

BYC Children's Choir WEST (Penistone) were having a spooky warm-up in their rehearsal at Penistone Grammar School today. Great to see our 3 fabulous Children’s Choirs making such progress with great leadership from Eleanor Wright Luke Mather Sam Gilliatt Rosie Masters and the rest of the teams.
