Golf tryouts are on today.

The SMHS Athletics Boys and Girls Golf Teams played in the Stinger Shootout at Georgia Southern. The boys finished 3rd and the girls finished 6th. Coach Osborne and Coach Lee did a great job of hosting. The girls are at Lagrange on Tuesday and both are at home vs WW and Pike Thurs.

Very proud of the SMHS Athletics boys on what was long day at the West Ga Invitational at Callaway Gardens. They played very well at times with a lot of room for improvement going forward. Great job of hosting by Coach Thrasher and LaGrangeHighSchool.

Great job out of the SMHS Athletics girls and boys golf teams, coming out on top of East Coweta yesterday. The boys won 162-164 and the girls won 131-134. Both teams are back in action at Flat Creek vs McIntosh tomorrow.

Congrats to the Starr's Mill HS Girls Golf Team on a runner-up team finish at the Lady Granger today in brutal conditions. Alex Gammill finished 2nd overall and made the all-tournament team with a score of 83 and Amani Mehta shot 87 and also made the all-tournament team.
