I decided to use a web host company to manage a conference mailing list. Having set this up as a quick *test* the page then says "thanks, I've e-mailed those 530 people and asked them to subscribe". Telling me beforehand would have been useful... I guess that was not a test then.

Not even 9:30am on a Monday, and the one MSword document I'm working on has been replaced with a "429 TOO MANY REQUESTS" message. It's only work stuff which does this, I've never seen this with amazon, ebay, facebook, bbc, google, etc.
