The Coordination Meeting on Early Flood Forecast in Northeastern 🇹🇭 and Border Provinces of 🇱🇦 took place last week to review the latest forecast data and projections, discuss potential impacts and collaboratively develop early warning strategies to safeguard our communities.

Study tour on the sediment flushing operation of hydroelectric facilities on the Upper Rhône enhance the understanding of transboundary sediment management through firsthand observation of sediment flushing operations and knowledge exchange, with supported from 🇨🇭and🇫🇷 🤝

CEO Busadee met with Mr. Benoît Guidée – Director for Asia and Oceania at the 🇫🇷 Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Cyrille Bellier – Head of Department for Europe, Middle East, and Asia of the #AFD, promoting a resilient and cooperative Mekong region.

France has been a long-standing Development Partner of the #MRC and we look to continuing the close collaboration in the sustainable development and management of the Lower Mekong Basin.
