Urging restraint would be a lot more convincing if the government was not not still allowing the export of arms to Israel. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Netanyahu began this war with his attack on Iran. In the process, he sabotaged US-Iran negotiations on nuclear issues and assassinated Ali Shamkhani, Iran’s lead nuclear negotiator. The US must not be dragged into another illegal Netanyahu war – either militarily or financially.

I oppose all nuclear weapons and believe in a nuclear-free Middle East as part of a nuclear-free world. Today I called on the Foreign Secretary to address Israel’s nuclear weapons arsenal – thought to include at least 90 nuclear warheads. There must be no double standards.

After Israel’s weekend escalation in the Middle East, reports suggest the US is considering joining air strikes on Iran. Let’s be clear: this would be a catastrophic mistake with consequences that could haunt the region—and the world—for generations.

At least with Iraq they bothered to fake a dossier. Not this time. Just Netanyahu bombing Iran, Trump egging it on - and the UK quietly shipping the parts to do it. Are we really going to let Netanyahu drag us into this conflict?

Very worrying reports that Trump is considering the US joining Israel’s bombing of Iran. Our Government must rule out any military involvement there. We saw with Iraq how following right-wing US presidents into Middle East wars can end.

A poll has Labour in 3rd place on 21%! Yesterday we were 3rd in Wales. It’s true that 2019 was an electoral disaster but Starmer is taking things to a new low level. Jeremy Corbyn got 40% in 2017. Now could someone explain to me why Morgan McSweeney is an electoral genius? 1/3

Look at what this Bill says. It’s time for Labour MP’s to pick a side. Do you think the most vulnerable people in society need support, or not? That’s the choice. Be true to the founding principles of the party and vote against these cuts.

Vicky Foxcroft worked really hard as the Shadow Minister for the Disabled & as a result will have a thorough understanding of the implications of the benefit cuts on disabled people. I fully respect her for the decision she has taken.

This is a principled decision and I hope many more MPs follow suit. As Shadow Minister for Disabled People, Vicky worked hard to win the trust of disabled people through meaningful engagement. This decision was no doubt incredibly difficult but demonstrates true Labour values.
