Producers, you gotta make friends in every time zone so you can get track feedback at any time of day.

When finishing a song, try mixing each group really well and saturating it, then export to a new project. You'll have less channels, fx, automation to remember and the saturation should make your groups more cohesive and boost harmonics that fill out the mix.

Commit and consolidate. Don't be a pussy about it. You can always open the old project again if something is messed up.

Bums me out that Daft Punk got in the studio with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams and came out with "Get Lucky". Well made song, but imagine if they did it earlier in their careers and made music somewhere between "Good Times" & "Around The World".

I want to hear "wise, old man rap" when rappers are like 50-60 and have a life's worth of vocabulary, song ideas, and rhythms to play with. Would imagine it would have more chill, mature beats and subject matter. Nas latest album made me think about this.

I’m working on a concept album with my friend goldenboi who sings and plays saxophone & guitar. It has a lot of house music on it, but not all house. I’ve been able to experiment with many sounds I haven’t tried before. Really excited and having a fun time making it.

My first single from the new album with goldenboi is out today. Spent the last year working on these tunes, feels good to get it out. Full vocal with backup harmonies and instrumentation. Summer vibes on this one.
