+1!!! Not only are the commercials too long, TSN seems to have a knack for going to commercials at the least opportune time! 🤬

Today is Claudette Colvin’s 82nd birthday. On March 12, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, 15-year-old Claudette refused to give up her seat to a white woman during her bus ride.  She said, “”It’s my constitutional right to sit here as much as that lady.” She was then arrested.

Well, TSN has yet again demonstrated their uncanny ability to ruin Formula 1 by cutting to commercials at the absolute WORST time. 😡😤🤬

Hey #bcedchat and #elachat experts! I’m teaching Lit Studies 12 in semester 2. Very curious to hear: how have you changed it since I took it a long time ago? And what texts do you bring to it now? What has been moved aside? All voices welcome!

Teachers: Today is the last chance to request free education license for @craftdocsapp Pro. This tool is incredible for your own notes and keeping information organized, but also a great publishing platform for sharing with students, parents, and colleagues. #bcedchat #PBLchat

The highest compliment from someone who disagrees with you is not “You were right.” It’s “You made me think.” Good arguments help us recognize complexity where we once saw simplicity. The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. It’s to promote critical thinking.

Someone recently asked me one thing I look for when I visit schools, walk through halls, and watch teachers do what they do best. My answer? Curiosity. ✅ curious kids ✅ teachers planning for curiosity ✅ teachers modelling curiosity ✅ teacher being curious themselves
