And again. Meant to have two domestic waste collections a week from Tower Hamlets Council - had the usual single one, as usual not on the day specified. Managers can't organise/control their own staff it seems. Caretaker reporting, again.

This could be very bad news for tower block residents if the trend takes hold. UK organisations love closing things down, so much cheaper and easier than fixing or making safe. Unless some special concern, should be challenged. Or Enfield simply install sprinklers in bin room.

GPs have always run their surgeries as 'businesses' (paid for by the NHS) so this seems to suggest that they are now offering the 'Private' option simply in order to get the NHS to pay them more? "Salaried general practitioners (GPs) in England earn £68,975 to £104,085" already.

From resident: "I’ve been trying to chase Tower Hamlets Council regarding a replacement parking gate key since April. They told me I’ll receive the key about 2-3 weeks ago which I haven’t. Now they’re not responding to my emails or calls." Anyone at LBTH got suggestion for her?

The reality of Tower Hamlets Council Limehouse Dom Waste collection - failed to come Monday, turned up only today, left mess over floor, could not be bothered to put bins back for Caretaker colleagues. Clearly Managers at LBTH paid to manage, aren't doing so. Evidence mounting.

Fascinating thread-yet AFAIK not reported by e.g. BBC or Guardian. We are not party political, but increasingly it seems to be that when people vote contrary to vested interests, they get ignored. Happened here, Guardian failed to report landslide victory in LBTH local election.

Too early to say what caused the fire, but worth noting that many Social Housing orgs, appear to have no desire to identify + fine residents who throw lit cigarettes from windows. One resident here had all washing on balcony set on fire - absolutely no investigation took place.

What happens when LBTH Dom Waste bin team fails to come on due day (Monday). No show Tuesday either. Came today but only emptied front bins apparently. Yes Tower Hamlets Council Caretaking will have reported, and no - nothing ever gets done. Management can't manage.
