Thank you to the wonderful people of Britain for standing up and saying love is stronger than hate. Humanity and solidarity, not hate and violence. Let’s make sure we keep it up though, make sure people feel safe across the country and that all belong here. #NoHumanIsillegal

One night of unity is not enough though. As a nation we must reflect on how these events were allowed to happen. We must work incredibly hard to heal the damage done, the trauma inflicted on people in those hotels and communities targeted by the mob violence. We must be better.
