Cooper Simpson, No. 21 in purple, hits the pump fake on the breakaway and scores his 10th goal of the season. Simpson is second in points in the USHL with 10G-16A-26PTS in 20GP. #NHLBruins

Dean Letourneau, No. 29 in white, scored his fifth goal of the year by going bar-down off the faceoff. Leads BC with 43 shots and has 5G-6A-11PTS in 12GP. This is a great example of why Letourneau was a first-round pick as big players don’t often have this skillset. #NHLBruins

Leading up to his one-time goal, James Hagens, No. 10 in white, cycles and moves the puck around the zone with fellow prospect Will Moore on the powerplay. Nice movement from Hagens and passing from Moore. #NHLBruins

Another strong shift from Dean Letourneau, No. 29 in white, as he helps out in transition starting in his own end, attempts to pick top corner off a shot and sets up his teammate for a scoring chance. #NHLBruins

Fabian Lysell, No. 22 in black, uses his speed to establish zone time before finishing off the play with a feed from Merkulov. #NHLBruins

Dekes, handles and finish from Fabian Lysell, No. 22 in black, as he powers through the neutral zone before dangling a defenseman and the goalie, scoring his eighth goal of the year. #NHLBruins

With time and patience out front, Dean Letourneau, No. 29 in gold, roofs the puck top-corner and scores his sixth goal of the season. #NHLBruins

James Hagens, No. 10 in gold, capitalizes on the mishandle from Dean Letourneau and scores on a spinning backhand goal. Hagens scores, falls, gets up and shoves Slaggert before continuing on with the celly. #NHLBruins

Second goal of the game for James Hagens, No. 10 in gold, as he skates from behind the net, turns, shoots and scores. Nice defensive work from Letourneau here to box out an ND player both in front and behind the net, creating space for Hagens. #NHLBruins

Third goal of the day and first collegiate hat trick for James Hagens, No. 10 in gold, as he skates in on a 2-on-1 before sniping post-in. #NHLBruins

Good example of small-area skill from James Hagens, No. 10 in gold, as he burns an ND defender with a spin move along the wall. Elusive play from Hagens to setup BC at the point for a scoring chance. #NHLBruins

Another good scoring chance for Dean Letourneau, No. 29 in gold, as he uses his speed and reach to beat a Notre Dame defender to the outside, attempting to flip the puck high and into the net. #NHLBruins

With a two-point night against Belleville, Fabian Lysell is now up to 8G-8A-16PTS in 15GP for Providence. Lysell, No. 22 in black, spins off the wall on the PP to setup Brunet while he jumps up into the play. #NHLBruins

No time to prepare, just a last second text from Evan Marinofsky demanding that I come on the show and talk prospects with him. We covered Hagens, Letourneau and even got into some questions surrounding developmental trends in Providence. Give it a listen. #NHLBruins

The Bruins have more high-end prospects in their system. They will get more. Next step: Can they develop them once they get to Boston/Providence?

Fabian Lysell, No. 22 in black, spins off a defender and feeds Frederic Brunet, No. 42 in black, out high before Brunet fires a wrister into traffic for a goal. Very nice setup by Lysell. #NHLBruins

While I think Frederic Brunet has been the best defender in Providence, he’s a left-shot and it wouldn’t make much sense for Boston right now. I find Soderstrom to run hot and cold, but he can skate and move the puck well. Good opportunity to find out what he provides. #NHLBruins
