Péter Szijjártó Peter, Budapest was twice conquered by the Red Army in 20th century, so I would expect you to have some sympathy with a brave nation which is resisting it today. I admit I’d rather be a supporter of Ukraine than have medal from Putin.

On 31st July 1991 Soviet OMON forces brutally killed seven Lithuanian customs and police officers at Medininkai border checkpoint. Another dramatic stage on the road to freedom for Lithuania and its people. Standing up to the oppression from Moscow.

Today we honour the memory of 7 unarmed Lithuanian officers murdered on 31 Jul 1991 at the Medininkai border post by Soviet OMON. This heinous crime was another act of violence by a crumbling evil empire against Lithuania. Unaccountability of Russia leads to other crimes & terror
