5LV have enjoyed learning about Gustav Klimt’s art work. We have focused on line drawings then created our own tiles to use for printing. We have been inspired by his Tree Of Life painting & there was lots of enthusiasm for the ink drawing 😍#broomfieldsart

Year 4 enjoyed a range of activities today. It started off with a visit from PrimeVR - Virtual Reality for Schools. Later, they created a piece of art linked to ‘The Perfect Fit’ for our maths through stories. We finished the day off with an ice pop on the field!😋 #BroomfieldsComputing #BroomfieldsMaths

Year 5 started their work on Maths through stories & Art. We read “The perfect fit” & focused on mathematical vocabulary relating to properties of 2D shape. We then explored tessellation & what it means. Tomorrow we look at how this inspired the artist Escher. #broomfieldsmaths
