I still believe we should have an outside support effort for IRS enforcers, who really get thrown under the bus with regularity. Can we stand outside their building with donuts or something sometime? Who’s with me?

So….. (c)(3) voter registration/ nonpartisan civic participation is good, actually. And long recognized as a valid (c)(3) activity. Unlike undisclosed election spending through (c)(4)s, say, which came about through a series of IRS/SCOTUS decisions Congress did not anticipate

In his closing, Sheldon Whitehouse reminds us that in Citizen’s United the Court said that there wouldn’t be secrecy. But they never corrected themselves, even when it was clear they had been wrong.
