btw, currently reading "The Devils" and "Cul-de-sac Carnage (Discount Dan #2)". Going to be a "fewer books" month with a big Malazan book on deck.

Just finished “The Devils”. Loved it. Felt like a fantasy mix of Suicide Squad and Creature Commandos, but with Joe Abercrombie’s uniquely spectacular voice. Another win for Joe Abercrombie

Now reading, this little novella!

I still haven’t had the fortitude to listen to any of my mom’s voicemails, but I’ve kept a candle constantly lit for 4.5 months now. These kind last 7 days. As one burns out, I light a new one. It’s just a constant tether to wherever she is now. At least, I choose to believe it.

I think my reading pace will pick up a lot when I finish the main Malazan series next Feb and only am reading one big epic (Wars of Light and Shadow), instead of both every other month.

tomorrow I'm going to film a video about the books I most regret reading since starting the channel. I'm sure it won't be divisive. the mood i'm in, I wouldn't be surprised if the channel goes wildly off the rails and turns into RickTV.
