Wanna learn what "L2 norm" means? It's the Pythagorean Theorem, used for finding the length of a vector: c^2 = a^2 + b^2 This can be written in C/GLSL like so: len = pow(pow(x,2.0) + pow(y,2.0), 1.0/2.0); pow(x, 1.0/2.0) is taking the square root here.
