Podcast makers: How do you construct your blanket fort for recording? Bonus points for photos. Currently, I'm surrounded by 7 pillows, 9 blankets, and 2 dogs. Scooter Phoenix @JPhilippine @cestegman

This is, by far, one of the best conceived and written longform articles I've read all year. One of those where I get to the end and say, "One day, I hope I can write this meaningfully and well." Thank you Jennifer Senior The Atlantic theatlantic.com/magazine/archi…

I'm in love with this new podcast—Loud Numbers. Miriam Quick & Duncan Geere has left 🔰 turn data into music. It's breaking up my feed full of "people just talking about things" (even if I love listening to people talk about things). loudnumbers.net

I’ve been reading a 5,000-year history of debt (I promise, it’s more interesting than it sounds). And over and over, the concept of debt jubilee shows up. We need this right now for both fiscal debt and email. Just wipe the slates clean.

And the award for best customer reference on a tech company website goes to... [clears throat]... CockroachDB . This brought me such strange delight. Thank you.

If you're looking for something light and fun to listen to today, check out our new episode of Compiler. It's a relatively new podcast I'm co-hosting with Scooter Phoenix— and this one was utterly delightful to record. open.spotify.com/episode/0gacKn…

On #CompilerPodcast , agree on code reviews although iv been in the buisness for 20+ years but mostly solo, now in the new area of codeing but with peers/ review level etc . It can be a bit disserning to see group of people pull your code apart.

CompilerPodcast Loved your episode on superstitions. My dad would always whistle the american national anthem while Windows was booting, because it was "written by an American, so maybe it'll hear it and boot faster" 😂

#ImpostorSyndrome is real! To a certain level we all have it, especially in the tech industry. Having a mentor empathise and say "you belong here" is invaluable. Don't miss a great discussion on mentorship relationships in #CompilerPodcast w/ Scooter Phoenix & Brent Simoneaux
