Idk if this is the "idea" of the book, but it's ret*rded as an idea. Galadrial is powerful and not evil. Gandolf is powerful and not evil. So is Tom Bombadil. So are half the elder, primordial Gods. Power isnt evil. Power is just power. Power can no more be evil than a gun
