An 18-year old University of Delaware freshman was killed yesterday crossing the street during her 1st day of classes by a motorcyclist fleeing a traffic stop. This comes <1 week after a mother and her 10-year old daughter were killed by a driver who was also fleeing a stop.

Getting the word out: Hispanic Heritage Month Kick off event tonight at the Delaware Art Museum, preceded by a mixer at Corteva by the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.

This is insane! Another example of why I say crime and lawlessness are becoming huge problems in our communities. I watched the police recap from this morning and they specifically mentioned teens from Delaware were involved.

Delaware ranks 4th from the bottom, nationally, in educational proficiency. The schools' test scores, some as low as 4%, 5%, and 6% are published for all to see, yet somehow, most people, including most parents, are just plugging along like nothing is wrong. Why is that? My take:
