The EU negotiators are trying to drive a wedge between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. I'm glad that T May is dependent on DUP support, as they will want any deal that does not fragment the UK.

If the government are thinking of having a 2nd vote on EU membership, Remainers must realise that there is no guarantee that their favoured option would win the day.

Bad news for Remainers: The Shadow Chancellor has said that Labour would not have a 'Stay in the EU] option if Labour are in power and offer a 2nd vote on Brexit.

It seems that there are machines available that will fill pot-holes in not more than 5 minutes. Why isn't Devon County Council using them?

Whether Johnson or Hunt wins the Tory leadership, the party looks certain to trounce Labour under Corbyn at the next general election. If the Tories win, the Brexit Party could even push Lab into third place.

Jeremy doesn't want No Deal, and will only agree to a general election if Parliament votes to rule out No Deal. The Tories are desperate to conclude Brexit business. No wonder Boris doesn't want an extension!

This could be the day where the Labour Party membership puts Corbyn and his leadership in place. Corbyn's been sitting on fence on this issue for far too long - his backside must be getting sore!

As a Leaver, I am now convinced that only a No Deal would fit what most Leavers expected of Brexit. Britain as a member of the Single Market and, perhaps, also the Customs Union means that we haven't taken back control, at all.

I do hope Sanisburys in Exeter gets freshs stock soon, as I depend on them for home deliveries, though I'm not in home isolation - yet.

I'll be raising a glass to Dominic Cummings on 31st October, the day we are finally shot of the EU. I'll be drinking non-European wine, unless I buy a bottle of British-made wine. Cheers!

I wonder whether the Covid problems the PM has had lately will be used by Remainers as a convenient punch-bag, especially if we leave without a deal.

The disgrace of the DVLA at Swansea should be dealt with working in shifts round the clock, and all staff at the office o given the sack if they refused.

It appears that Kasi Kwentung is trying to wheedle his was back into the Cabinet with his accusation that Truss moved too fast on tax cuts.
