With summer right around the corner, my class has been struggling with appropriate noise levels. I used Bouncy Balls for the first time today, and I can’t recommend it enough! It helps them to actually visualize their noise levels! Seminole Trails Elem

This website Bouncy Balls made my day last Friday when I had to supervise 'a lot' of sixth formers. They were so annoyed at the shush sound that they didn't want to make a noise! A win-win for everyone! I did put the sensitivity at the highest level! 😜 #TEACHers #edutwitter

Offering to cover a lesson reminded me of this amazing tool for noise management in the classroom - made for Primary but the Year 9’s were transfixed (and quiet)! Bouncy Balls

Amazing tool to teach indoor voices. It promotes self regulation and autonomy. The students were engaged & regulated their volume. They love it and so do I.😃🌟😃 No more repeating, "Use your indoor voices." Bouncy Balls

Ss in Mrs. Norred’s class are creating book trailers and book covers for their narratives. Group work never sounded so good- we are using Bouncy Balls to monitor sound during group work as a classroom management tool. #GoldStandard

This is a game changer from Bouncy Balls. If you want your students to be working quietly, this is the website to use. I used it with two classes today and the children were so determined to not make the balls bounce and for it to “shhh” them 😂 so simple but effective!

Challenge accepted during independent reading time today with the #BouncyBalls noise meter. After a bit of yelling and silliness to set it off, we settled into silence. The balls are jiggling because of the small fan on my desk. 👍🏻

We’ve been a little bit noisy today with being stuck inside so we’ve used the bouncy ball noise manager website to remind us when we’re being too loud during working time. This has been very helpful! Well done Y2BC!

bouncyballs.org is a free classroom management/noise meter tool. Once you enable your microphone the bouncing balls react to the noise level in class. The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted, and there are a few different themes to choose from.
