Tasting Chateau La Violette at Chateau Le Gay. The black fruit and concentration on this #Pomerol make it a star of the 2024 #primeurs in #Bordeaux #Bdx24 #Bdx2024 Definitely one of the best #wine I have tasted so far. Too bad only 600 bottles will be made.

Tasting at Ausone for #Bordeaux #primeurs 2024 #SaintEmilion #wine La Clotte and Ausone very well made. Definitely in best in class group. Chapelle d’Ausone also interesting with #cabernet franc dominating. #Bdx24 #Bdx2024

Dunn Howell Mountain 2008 #cabernet #wine Didn’t want to like it but I do. Black #fruit bomb, some mint and eucalyptus, graphite, very soft tannins, quite long, finishes a bit hot, but still balanced. #Napa Easy to drink and enjoy. Well made. Sad to see bottle empty….
