Statement from College Sports Commission CEO Bryan Seeley: The College Sports Commission will enforce the settlement as written. Pay-for-play will not be permitted, and every NIL deal done with a student-athlete must be a legitimate NIL deal, not pay-for-play in disguise.

Another NCAA Division I Bylaw 22 NIL update to close out the week. Effective immediately, Bylaw 22.1.1.2 permits schools to pay actual and necessary expenses for NIL activities tied to institutional promotions without counting as compensation or cap dollars.
