It is 70 months since Dame Linda Dobbs started her review into who at LBG knew what about the fraud. If every line of enquiry was a dead end she would have reported ages ago The fraud LBG denied for a decade has so far cost it about £1.8b. What will it spend to bury the report?

Supporting a local farm is supporting a way of life and the stewardship of the countryside. Buy local and seasonal for better quality food that backs local business with less food miles.

I am a farmer who has observed the countryside, land, waterways and wildlife all my life I have dug many ditches and streams and observed how they regenerate the fish and the water birds, in my opinion, and it’s a good job so you could say I have been to the University of life

In August 2011 I was contacted by a locum working at a law firm in Cumbria, concerned that I, like his client had been the victim of a farm finance fraudster. As a result I helped him trace a number of victims. 'We thought we were the only ones, was the often tearful response'
