Many of the first astronauts were test pilots, which is the path I followed 30 years ago, but that's no longer the case. Privatizing spaceflight will change much of the nature of activities of astronauts and we will likely see a lot of diversity to meet the new needs.

Quite extraordinary to watch two HoF astronauts, “mutt and Jeff” their way through a story about split second decision making and precision. Their humility is one of their many exceptional attributes as leaders and explorers.
