Nice to see NBA stars becoming more vocal (and honest) about the difficulty off the European/international game. The best quality and talent is in the NBA, but international rules provide for a tougher, more intense and more team oriented game, which is gaining audience. Love it!

ELPA Performance Advisory Board visited the Technogym Village, enjoyed the tour of its technology & innovation center, and discussed ideas for future improvements related to professional basketball. They also tested Starpool Wellness Zero Body Cryo Float beds for athletes’ recovery.

Following the workshop, EuroLeague Medical Officer Dr. Ignacio Muro introduced competition’s injury register and prevention system. To conclude the morning part of the EPIC, sports psychologist Mar Rovira touched on the importance of stress management in elite basketball setting

The second part of the day started with the panel discussion. ALBA BERLIN Sports Director Himar Ojeda Pérez, @VirtusSegafredo General Manager Paolo Ronci and ELPA Managing Director @bokinachbar touched on the importance of dedicated sports performance teams in basketball clubs.
