First Year #cricketer Jack Heaps, who plays for Mottram Cricket Club, is celebrating after being selected for the Under 12 Greater Manchester League squad following trials. Jack joins 14 other players from clubs across Greater Manchester who will go on to play against other districts.

During the academic year, over 270 pupils have entered UK Maths Trust challenges. The challenges are part of a national competition split into Junior, Intermediate and Senior Maths Challenges. Huge congratulations to the pupils who achieved a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate!

Congratulations to the Under 13 Boys A and B #hockey teams who played a mid-week fixture against The Grange School. The players had a great time and came away with a 6-0 and 5-1 win respectively. Amazing work and good luck to the A team in their competition this week. #SGSSport

An update following this morning’s incident with Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment horses in London. Three of our soldiers are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Our horses are also safe, and are undergoing veterinary care. (1/2)
