Regarding EV charging @MaryCreaghMP you say that “charging at motorway services is fine” from a long weekend driving an EV. Actually it isn’t - far from it. There are too few chargers, not all are CCS (the current standard) and many don’t actually work!

I intended to be provocative. My overall view is that providing both is the best cover-all-bases solution, but it’s *insane* that OEMs are STILL not supplying Type 2 as standard. It’s like selling petrol and diesel cars that you can only fill up with a Jerry can. Utterly absurd!
