Returning an author's whole catalog is crazy work. I wish Amazon penalized y'all for shit like that. Authors get paid LESS than a PENNY per page read. To consume the whole book and then at the end refund to get your money back should be illegal. You're stealing idc.

it's really interesting how trad pub barely kept its toe in the romantasy genre, a genre thriving just fine in the indie space, and for months now, i've been hearing authors, particularly BIPOC, are being told that the market is oversaturated w/ romantasy. we just got here.

Some people get instant success, and for others its a long, tough journey. I'm still not where I need to be, but I'm not going to quit when I can feel my break through coming!
