if you make it fun to hang out with yourself, you will have fun everywhere you go. the expectations your environment has to meet will drop dramatically and you’ll gladly vibe wherever you are or: not having fun in places where others seem able to is usually just a skill issue

honestly love watching over people’s shoulders on how they use their phones on the subway / ferry. we’ve all become insane. going mindlessly from one app to another. opening up a chat thread, closing, switching to another app and coming back to it a couple seconds later.
