Yes.

Realism isn't artistically pointless, fwiw. However, these two IPs have different goals entirely. One is meant to be taken in slowly and the narrative explores life itself / love / morality. The other is meant for spamming dodge roll while being chased by flying vagina dragons.

I haven't kept up with the ENnies in years due to my loathing of the #ttrpg "industry", but all the awards to The Arcane Library for Shadowdark and Free League Publishing getting Publisher of the Year are very, very well deserved. Congrats!

I just don't. I can't. I don't. I have no idea how this UI shipped. I love you Hunt: Showdown but it's been over a week now for me to try and be positive, give the benefit of the doubt, and just assume it's 3k hours of muscle memory and I'm in the wrong. I'm not. It's very bad.

D&D isn't an approachable game for people who are new to RPGs and there are far better games out there to teach new people. I wrote about this years ago here: dreadgazebo.net/the-approachab… Update for 2024 though: #dnd is a subpar game published by an awful company. Play anything else.

Ah yes, I love pointless buttons in the Hunt: Showdown UI. When you click this one and try and zoom in to look at a hunter, the scroll wheel just changes the model to another one in the same column...you know...instead of zooming. Also, every Hunter's bio is now just...gone.🤡🤡
