*SUMMER READING CHALLENGE 2025* To complete the challenge each child has to read six books from BwDLibraries during the summer holidays there is still time). CU members can collect 6 hours. Just DM a copy of the certificate to us once completed! #summerreadingchallenge
And that’s a wrap for summer 2025! We’ve done so many different activities including cooking, martial arts, visits to Canalside with the Canal & River Trust, a day at Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, sports, 3 family trips + not forgetting lots of arty things too!

MY FAVOURITE PLACE – WINNER! First prize went to our very own CU member Alina from Sacred Heart for her creatively crafted poem about Witton Park, earning her a £100 Waterstones voucher along with a selection of books. Congratulations to Alina, we are very proud! BwDLibraries
