It's been a while since this work started as the main project in Asier's PhD. Long story short is that DELLAs have not changed that much during evolution, which is impressive, but functional divergence was partly driven by their interactors and cis element evolution.

In collaboration with Xuemei Chen's lab, we uncovered an essential role of microRNA156 in enabling plant growth plasticity in response to temperature and light changes -- nature.com/articles/s4146…. Congrats to all authors, and many thanks to our collaborators Xuemei Chen lab.

Very proud of our latest TiBS review with Ulrich Hammes and David Stokes about PINs and auxin.🌱 😁 We compare PIN8, PIN1 and PIN3 structures and find interesting previously undescribed common features and some fascinating differences. Beautiful figures by Kien Lam Ung as always🤩

Does phase separation of subnuclear organelles occur randomly? Our study shows that photobodies form via nonrandom phytochrome B condensation at defined subnuclear locations. Congratulations to my brilliant postdocs Juan Du and Keunhwa Kim -- nature.com/articles/s4146…
