That was truly gruesome, and what a relief to get it done. Completely blown away and very emotional about all the support and donations for Demelza Charity. Some very deep and dark moments after mile 20. First drink in four months consumed. What a day 🙌 #LondonMarathon

This is the saddest of times. The emotion, grief, and support has been a measure of John’s impact on Millwall and the wider football community. His loss will be felt by so many. I am eternally grateful for the support and backing he gave me over my 11 years. Rest in Peace, John
