Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. - James 1:12

Every day is a gift from God

Cast your cares on the Lord     and he will sustain you; he will never let     the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

Once you have had cancer - it hits differently, last night my heart dropped when I saw this. I love baseball. When I was growing up - Ryne Sandberg was one of the stars. I know he fought hard. We must find a cure for cancer once and for all!

How does your faith respond to trials?

I have always drawn strength from Jim Valvano's famous speech at the ESPY's in 1993. He highlighted 3 things everyone should do every day: laugh, think, and have their emotions moved to tears. Today the tears came because of joy and thankfulness. BELIEVE ALWAYS!

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10

August 6th That will always be our special day! Thankful for 9 years of marriage with my sweetheart Brianne. This year has been hard, there have been some tears, we are made stronger through our trials, and today we stand here together! God has many blessings in store for us!
