Game #31 of 2025 completed: The Drifter A thrill ride of a "point and click" narrative game. Plot never gets dull. Shockingly cinematic and top-notch voice acting. Only held back by a lot of back and forth puzzle solving. Highly recommend!

Idyllic JRPG intros have their flaws. But there's a magic and nostalgia attached to them that almost no other genre can match for me. It's easy to get whisked away into their peaceful and pleasant worlds. And I'm simultaneously transported to being a 13 year old again as well.

I had a lot of perceptions of what a point and click adventure game was heading into The Drifter. The game smashed those perceptions in many awesome ways. The game only let me down when it stuck too hard to the usual genre format. My review. bignerdgaming.com/2025/09/23/the…

There are a lot of elements of Silksong that annoyed me. But the stuff that is good is SO good that I just couldn't stop playing it.

Silksong and Hades 2 both have some of my favorite animation work ever. And I played them almost back to back. Crazy times.

That feeling when you are a few days into a game and you are pretty sure it's a 10/10 >>>>
