Nurses are now earning £5,000 a year less in real terms than when the Tories came to power. There are now 47,000 nursing vacancies in the NHS. The NHS crisis can't be resolved without paying nurses properly. My 100% solidarity with nurses if they're forced to strike this week.

Tory MPs reintroduced NHS car parking fees, in England, for nurses (and NHS staff), from the 1st April. 72 NHS trusts are now charging nurses for parking. Nurses paying car park fees as high as £1300pa to care for the sick, elderly & vulnerable. MPs get their parking for free.

Volunteers are not going to save the NHS. Privatisation is not going to save the NHS. Being ‘tough on unions’ is not going to save the NHS. The NHS is a network of 1.5 million hardworking staff. This government AND their opposition do not value them. RT if you agree 💙
