Yesterday BHC's Jamie Muchall & Amy Maynard welcomed the YMCA Youth Parliament; discussing housing affordability and government's role in legislating, funding and policy making for social and affordable housing. What an incredible group of passionate and committed young people!

Today BHC was humbled to have respected Torres Strait Islander Elder, Uncle Bill, join staff to reflect on #NRW2022. Thank you Uncle Bill for talking about our shared histories, reflecting on Reconciliation and how we can all contribute to Reconciliation in Australia.

We were proud to be a finalist in the UDIA National Awards for Excellence in the Seniors Living category for Arbor Sherwood Retirement Village. Even though we did not win, we are still incredibly proud of this village and most importantly the residents who call Arbor home!

BHC partnered with Micah Projects to deliver the second health and wellness clinic at our O’Brien Place property in Fortitude Valley. It was a great day promoting health and wellness, all while bringing community together! 💚

This morning, the BHC and Elevate teams once again took part in Challenge DV’s #DarknesstoDaylight🚶3km walk. It may have been an early and chilly start to the morning, but that is nothing compared to what those facing domestic and family violence experience. 💜
