Susan Sean Perez RCSLT 💙 Sad thing is many NHS services are currently unable to offer a single follow up session, let alone a block of 6+ weeks. We need to take ‘evidence based treatment’ to commissioners to get funding for it (as well as sorting out the currently SLT recruitment problem!).

Yes the dated VAK theory would make one shudder! But I have researched this, the VAK theory in this case is more to channel the idea of ‘differentiation’ when working with a range of neurodivergent profiles. Please pm me if you have any questions as ill happily answer:-)

Keep raising awareness!💜I did 3 training sessions this week, and it still amazes me, that despite DLD prevalence, I am still trying to convince people that DLD exists! It needs recognition so we can support it, and advocate for those who can’t advocate for themselves #DLD
