If you can activate Voice and Data almost immediately after SIM swap, why SMS services will be barred for 48 hours for security reasons. If there are security reasons you shoudnt activate voice in the first place or provide a replacement SIM. Airtel Cares airtel India

Airtel barred my SMS services for 48 hrs for security reasons and the reason they gave is to prevent fraud on bank accounts linked to my number. The only thing it did is stop me from using my bank accounts. Even after verifying my identity. Airtel Cares airtel India
