If you’re planning on watching any Lynch, my advice is: don’t watch any analysis videos, don’t think about what stuff is “supposed” to mean, just get your own unique experience from it!! I think people have become far too concerned with the “correct” interpretations of media.

There will never be a David Lynch again. One because he was special, two because the conditions in which be got to become a filmmaker and take risks don’t exist anymore

David Lynch - A huge and sad loss. A remarkably unique and very talented filmmaker. It was such a truly great pleasure to work with him. If his name was in the credits, you knew the film was really worth seeing. I will miss him.

So, Twin Peaks is in production & Lynch is up in Washington and hears that a particularly annoying ABC executive is coming for a set visit. The executive shows up in the morning and Lynch proclaims "You've got a great face! I'm gonna make you an extra. Get him to hair & makeup!"

I got to be friends with David Lynch when we were both at Universal years ago. A very kind man, he was a fan of Bob's Big Boy. So was I. I'm going to miss him. R.I.P. David.
