📞: The US FCC has voted to cut the cost of phone calls from prison by more than half. The new caps range from USD $0.06 - $0.12 (AUD $0.09 - $0.18) per minute. The current cost of a phone call from prison in Victoria is AUD $0.57/min - more than six times the new US cap.
