5/19 - HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY to Kevin Huntley. The 2-time All Star champ won the 2004 Mopar Thunder, 7 All Star races, 4 USAC Sprint races, the '97 4-Crown USAC Silver Crown event and a 360 feature at Eldora. Huntley, who passed at 56 years old, would have turned 60 today.

5/20/2000 - Elida, Ohio's Darren Long picked up his first checkered flag at Eldora capturing NRA 360 Sprint Car feature. Long beat Bobby Clark, his brother Mark Long, Kyle Sauder and Dennis Yoakam for the win. Scott Orr won his 3rd straight UMP Mod event.

6/14/2008-Tracy Hines won his 2nd straight USAC Sprint main event at Eldora leading 30 laps of the main event. Jesse Hocket, Chad Boat, Damion Gardner and Daron Clayton were top 5. Darron Long won the NRA 360 feature over Jared Horstman, Butch Schroeder, D. Daggett & K Wolters.
